As a sexual shamanic healer/erotic shamanic worker I believe that some of our deepest wounds are sexual in nature and can only be healed through energetic AND erotic healing.
To become a sexual shaman or healer requires developing and experiencing three special skill sets practiced by all shamans:
1) Playful joy in connection to others
2) Sacred sensual activity and movement throughout the life cycle.
3) A desire to connect to the divine energy available to enrich you.

Tantra is a spiritual tradition, meaning "loom," "warp," or "weaving".
It emphasizes the integration of all aspects of life—physical, emotional, and spiritual —as pathways to divine realization.
The core idea is that the universe is a web of interconnected energies, and through disciplined practice, one can expand consciousness and experience the divine within all existence.
In her book, Anatomy of the Spirit, Caroline Myss says:
